South Korea Affirms Probability of Iranian Missile Involvement in Attack Against HMM Namu
South Korea reported that an Iranian anti-ship missile was likely involved in the May 4 attack against the HMM Namu, operated by shipping company HMM, in the Strait of Hormuz. Vice Minister Park Yoon-joo noted that various evidence points to Iran, although Seoul did not conclusively determine responsibility or if it was intentional. Iranian Ambassador Saeed Koozechi denied his country's involvement.
