Peak Season Surcharge for the scope: Far East Asia to West Africa
Maersk announced a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) revision for routes connecting Far East Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia) to West Africa (Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Benin, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Niger, Togo, Angola, Cameroon, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Namibia, Central African Republic, Chad, Guinea, Mauritania, Gambia, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Cape Verde Island, Mali) effective 11-Jun-26. The surcharge amounts to USD 500 per 20-foot container and USD 1,000 per 40/45-foot container, applicable to non-SPOT bookings based on Price Calculation Date (PCD).
