Mega-ship cruise terminal proposed near Santos, Brazil

Brazil's Grupo Peralta plans the R$1b ($200m) Litoral Plaza Port, a mega-ship cruise terminal at Litoral Plaza Shopping in Praia Grande, 19 kilometers from Santos. The double-berth pier would handle ships up to 362 meters with capacity for approximately 1.3 million annual passenger movements. The facility is intended to complement Santos' existing cruise operations, with coastal and marine works estimated to take 36 months once final approvals are received.
