Valenciaport Promotes New Electrical Distribution Center to Advance Decarbonization
The Port Authority of Valencia (APV) is tendering the construction of a new electrical energy distribution center in the Port of Valencia with a budget exceeding USD 4.5 million. The project will allow the distribution of electrical power from the ST1 substation (132 kV), which will become operational in the second half of 2026. It is part of the Valenciaport Net Zero Emissions plan, which aims to achieve net zero emissions by 2035 through electrification, energy efficiency, and renewable energies.
