Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what cookies are, which ones DataPortuaria uses and how users can manage them. It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in the user's browser during a visit. They make it possible to remember information about the visit, such as preferences or pages viewed, and to obtain usage statistics. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, serve an equivalent purpose.

2. Cookies and technologies we use

Functional (first-party). We store in the browser's local storage the user's cookie choice and whether they have already subscribed to the newsletter, so we don't ask again. This data does not identify the person and is not sent to third parties.

Analytics (third-party). We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used: number of visits, most-read pages, time spent, device type and approximate location. Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, which last up to 2 years.

Advertising (third-party). The site's ad spaces are managed with Google Ad Manager and Google AdSense. These services may set cookies (for example __gads, __gpi or those of the doubleclick.net domain) to serve ads, limit how many times the same ad is shown, measure ad performance and, depending on the user's Google account settings, personalize ads.

Analytics and advertising cookies are only enabled if the user accepts them in the cookie notice. If they are rejected, the site still shows ads, but not personalized ones.

3. Third-party cookies

Analytics and advertising cookies are managed by Google, which processes the information under its own policies. More information at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

4. How to manage cookies

Users can change their choice at any time from , a link also available in the site footer. They can also block, limit or delete cookies in their browser settings. Blocking them does not prevent reading the site's content, although some features may be affected. In addition, users can:

5. Changes

DataPortuaria may update this policy when it adds or stops using tools that rely on cookies. The current version will always be the one published on this site.
