Carnival Cruise Line unveiled FunPacks, its largest bundled package offering to date, which combines in a single pre-cruise purchase benefits such as Wi-Fi, beverages, shore excursions, specialty dining and discounts on spa treatments and photos. The cruise line noted that this offering is an evolution of its previous Value packages and allows guests to save between 35% and 55% compared to purchasing each item separately.
Four package options
FunPacks are offered in four variants: Kidstarter, Zero Proof, Social and Epic, each with a per person, per day price and different benefits. According to Cruise Critic, Kidstarter costs $25 per day and is designed for guests between the ages of 3 and 17, while Zero Proof is priced at $50 per day and includes unlimited non-alcoholic beverages. Social is priced at $60 per day and includes one shore excursion and one specialty dining experience, and Epic, the most comprehensive option, costs $99 per day and includes two shore excursions, two specialty dining experiences, a bottle of sparkling wine and laundry service.
Booking window and sailing dates
FunPacks can be booked through My Cruise Manager on Carnival's website for sailings departing between October 31, 2026 and December 31, 2027. Cruise Industry News and Cruise Critic reported that the booking window opens on October 14, 2026, while Carnival's official statement set the start date one day earlier, on October 13, and both sources agree that the booking window remains open through October 30, 2026.
Dynamic pricing starting in December
Starting December 1, 2026, Carnival will implement dynamic pricing for its beverage packages and Wi-Fi plans, which will vary depending on the length of the sailing, the itinerary and the season. Cruise Critic noted that, until now, Cheers! packages have had a fixed cost ranging from $6.95 per child per day for the Bottomless Bubbles package ($11.99 per adult per day) up to $69.99 per person per day for the Cheers! package, while Wi-Fi plans range from $20 to $25 per person per day, though the cruise line has not yet specified how these rates will change under the new pricing scheme.
Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy said the company is excited to launch FunPacks, its largest collection of packages to date, to make it easier for guests to combine the experiences they enjoy most and save money.
