Crystal Cruises announced that Crystal Serenity will debut five new suites after undergoing a dry dock in Lisbon scheduled for 2028. The addition includes a Crystal Owner's Suite and four Junior Penthouse Premium Suites, located midship on Deck 11, and will be available to guests sailing from May 5, 2028 onward.
Owner's Suite Details
The new Crystal Owner's Suite will feature two bedrooms and 1,722 square feet of space, along with a private 409-square-foot balcony. Its design will be led by naval architect and design historian Paolo Piccione, featuring wood flooring, custom wool rugs, hand-crafted millwork and fine fabrics. The living area will include a library and fireplace, while the dining area will offer panoramic ocean views, a butler's pantry and personalized bar service, as well as a Hi-Fi entertainment system with touch panels for multi-zone audio. The master bedroom will have a king-size bed and two walk-in closets, with a marble-clad bathroom and whirlpool tub, while the second bedroom will feature a separate closet and bathroom. The suite will also include Technogym equipment with personalized Technogym Coach programming.
Company Statements
Bernie Leypold, Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations for Crystal, noted that the company continues to evolve Crystal Serenity while preserving the character and sense of comfort that have made the ship beloved by guests. He added that the new suites allow for the introduction of fresh design elements and a greater variety of options, creating a cohesive, contemporary, and distinctly Crystal collection of accommodations.
Another Dry Dock This Month
In addition to the dry dock planned for 2028, Crystal Serenity is scheduled for another dry dock this month, during which the Aquamarine Classic Suite category, located on Deck 10, will be renovated. Cruise Mapper also noted that the addition of the new Owner's Suite follows the introduction of a similar suite aboard Crystal Grace during its inaugural season.
