FESCO Transportation Group carried 259,000 TEU on its FESCO China Direct Line (FCDL) service between Chinese ports and the Vladivostok terminal during January-September 2026, representing a 31% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
According to the company, imports were the main driver of this growth, rising 72% over the nine months analyzed. FESCO explained that, given the shift of trade toward the Russian Far East, it adapted the service by flexibly managing its fleet composition, increasing transport capacity, and optimizing operations.
The FCDL service consists of four regular lines connecting the Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port (VMTP) with major Chinese ports, including Shanghai, Ningbo, Dalian, Rizhao, Lianyungang, Yantian, and Nansha. According to PortsEurope, vehicle kits remain the largest cargo segment within this trade.
Looking ahead to November, FESCO Group expects to raise the service's total transport capacity to more than 7,000 TEU per week.
