Orient Express Sailing Yachts and Guerlain announced Ocean Rebirth, a 14-night wellness retreat aboard the sailing yacht Orient Express Corinthian during a transatlantic crossing that will run from Lisbon to Bridgetown between October 12 and 26, 2026, with a port call in Ponta Delgada, in the Azores.
Program structure
The program is organized around four pillars of Guerlain's wellness approach: nutrition, movement, mindfulness and sleep. Prior to the voyage, an assessment is carried out that allows an individual plan to be designed for each guest, which can be adjusted during the crossing according to their needs and progress. Guests who wish may opt for the full crossing or for one of two shorter legs: Lisbon-Ponta Delgada, from October 12 to 15, or Ponta Delgada-Bridgetown, from October 15 to 26.
Specialists and technology
Five Guerlain specialists will take part in the retreat, covering holistic wellness, regenerative nutrition, massage and recovery, beauty and fitness, among them Amélie Demange, Déborah Passuti, Slav Marinov, Annabelle Deridder and Charles Ferreux. The program includes devices such as LongeviSkin, which combines seven aesthetic technologies, and Theragun recovery equipment, as well as longevity consultations. The culinary offering was developed by chef Yannick Alléno together with Guerlain specialists, with menus organized around the concepts Timeless Glow, Pure Reset and Vitality Boost.
The host vessel
The Orient Express Corinthian, designed by architect and artistic director Maxime d'Angeac, is the first ship of Orient Express's new luxury maritime division and is currently regarded as the largest cruising sailing yacht in the world, with a length overall of 220 meters and three carbon masts nearly 100 meters tall that combine sail power with hybrid technology. The vessel features 54 suites with capacity for 110 passengers, and already offers Guerlain's wellness experience through its onboard spa.
Second edition in 2027
Ocean Rebirth will have a second edition in the reverse direction, from Bridgetown to Lisbon, scheduled from March 13 to 27, 2027, with a two-day port call in Ponta Delgada. As in the first edition, guests will be able to choose the full itinerary or two legs: Bridgetown-Ponta Delgada, from March 13 to 24, and Ponta Delgada-Lisbon, from March 24 to 27.
