Cubierto por 3 fuentesPublicado
Peru's Supervisory Agency for Investment in Public Transport Infrastructure (Ositrán) is preparing to carry out a third pilot to monitor, using GPS data, the transit and dwell times of trucks entering and leaving the Terminal Norte Multipropósito (TNM) in Callao and the New Container Terminal at the Callao Port Terminal-South Zone (MSC). Information from the GPS devices installed on the trucks will be transmitted to a platform implemented by the agency.
Background and scope
Ositrán had already carried out two previous pilots at the TNM, which included units used for break-bulk cargo, dry bulk cargo, and containerized cargo. This third pilot expands the scope of monitoring by incorporating trucks carrying containers at MSC, and will run between October 2026 and April 2027.
Call for trucking companies
The agency invited trucking companies operating at the TNM and MSC to join the initiative. Interested parties must submit the duly signed participation authorization form by October 16, 2026, to the email address designated by Ositrán.
