Seabourn announced its 2029 summer Ocean Voyages collection, featuring 166 departures to more than 180 destinations across the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Alaska, Canada and New England. The itineraries will be operated by the ships Seabourn Ovation, Quest and Encore, with highlights including the line's return to Egypt after more than five years away and a new seven-day voyage through the Gulf of Bothnia, between Sweden and Finland. Crystal Morgan, Seabourn's senior director of itinerary planning and deployment, noted that the collection offers guests more ways to experience meaningful destinations, combining small, less-traveled ports with the personalized service that defines the brand.
Return to Egypt in the Mediterranean
Between March and November 2029, Seabourn Ovation will offer 21 itineraries through the Western Mediterranean, Italy, the Adriatic and the Aegean, with the return to Egypt as one of the main highlights: some voyages will include an overnight stay in Alexandria, allowing guests to explore Cairo and the Pyramids of Giza. New themed voyages, "Italian Coast & Fireworks Over Corsica" and "Pyramids & Evening at Ephesus," will be added, along with an inaugural call at Kapsali, on the Greek island of Kythira. The season will also bring back the private "Evening at Ephesus" event, featuring classical music among the ruins, along with the "Shopping with the Chef" experience at local markets in select ports.
Expansion in Northern Europe
Between May and September 2029, Seabourn Quest will sail through Scandinavia, the Baltic, the British Isles, Northern Norway, Iceland and Greenland. The new seven-day Gulf of Bothnia itinerary will take the line further north in the Baltic, with inaugural calls at Härnösand, Kemi, Rauma and Oulu. The season also includes debut calls at Alta and Frøya, along with extended overnight stays in Bordeaux, Rouen, Helsinki, Tallinn, Edinburgh and Hamburg, including a visit to Turku, Finland, marking its 900th anniversary. Many of these voyages can be combined into 14-, 21-, 28-day or longer journeys.
Alaska, Canada and New England
Seabourn Encore will return to Alaska between May and September 2029 with seven-day voyages between Juneau and Vancouver, as well as 10- and 11-day itineraries extending to Valdez, Whittier and College Fjord, all featuring glacier viewing and optional Ventures by Seabourn activities, including scenic cruising through British Columbia's Great Bear Rainforest. Meanwhile, Seabourn Quest will cover Canada and New England between September and October with 12- and 13-day voyages, including overnight stays in Boston, Quebec City and St. John's, and visits to boutique ports such as Gaspé and Îles-de-la-Madeleine.
