Application of EFS/IFS Update- PAN INDIA

Maersk announced the implementation of Export Fuel Surcharge (EFS) and Import Fuel Surcharge (IFS) of 5% on base price across all inland routes in India, effective 27/05/2026. The surcharge responds to significant increases in global fuel prices driven by the ongoing geopolitical situation in West Asia, which has raised operating costs across the logistics network. The measure aims to partially offset rising inland haulage expenses while ensuring service continuity and reliability.
