Port Canaveral Launches Junior Ambassador Program for 17 Brevard County Students
The Canaveral Port Authority opened its seventh Junior Ambassadors Program with 17 students from nine Brevard County high schools participating in a full-day immersive maritime careers initiative. The program connects students with Port leadership and partners to explore career opportunities across cruise operations, cargo logistics, military partnerships, aerospace, commercial fishing, and environmental stewardship. Approximately 100 students have participated since the program's establishment, with many pursuing post-secondary study in maritime and port operations.
