ABS and HD Hyundai Partner on U.S.-Flagged Tanker Design as Shipbuilding Ties Deepen
ABS and South Korea's HD Hyundai Heavy Industries have launched a joint development project for a U.S.-flagged 50,000 deadweight ton oil and chemical tanker design. ABS will review the design for compliance with ABS classification requirements and U.S. Coast Guard regulations.
