Puerto Natales Ferry Undergoes Interagency Anchorage Inspection
The Maritime Authority of Puerto Natales, along with the PDI, National Customs Service, and Carabineros de Chile, carried out an interagency operation to conduct an anchorage inspection of a ferry arriving from Puerto Montt. The operation included identity checks for 31 crew members and 9 passengers, as well as a thorough inspection of the vessel. Lieutenant Commander Rafael González highlighted that the procedure followed established protocols, contributing to safety on the maritime routes of the Magallanes and Chilean Antarctic Region.
