Manta Unloads 5,335 Vehicles in Record Ro-Ro Operation
Manta Port Terminal unloaded 5,335 vehicles from the vessel MN Kang Qian Kou, a 199-meter ship from the Chinese shipping company Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers, arriving from the Port of Shanghai. This marks the largest ro-ro operation since TPM took over administration in 2017. As of August 2026, the terminal has received 109 car carrier vessels.
