Perry Schiavo, founder of ITC Italian Travel Consultant, dies at 89
Impero 'Perry' Schiavo, founder of ITC Italian Travel Consultant, has died at age 89. He established the family-run DMC and incoming tour operator in Rome in 1969, specializing in tailored travel experiences throughout Italy for over five decades. His son Marco Schiavo continues leading the company, which manages land services for cruise lines and charters. The funeral was held on September 29 at the Church of San Salvatore in Lauro, Rome.
