MTPE and HD Hyundai Sign Naval Training Agreement in Peru
The Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries signed a memorandum of understanding to train and certify Peruvian talent in the naval industry. The program includes the construction of 23 vessels, including six multi-role ships, three offshore patrol vessels, four Río Pativilca class maritime patrol vessels, four coastal auxiliary vessels, four submarines, and two tankers, generating sustained demand for specialized technical personnel.
