Wan Hai Lines Orders Six 11,000 TEU Dual-Fuel Containerships
Wan Hai Lines has finalized a contract for six 11,000 TEU containerships with Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, at a cost between USD 118 and USD 124 million per vessel. The ships will operate with dual-fuel methanol and liquefied natural gas (LNG), meeting EEDI Phase III standards. To date, Wan Hai has ordered eight containerships for 2026, totaling between USD 928 and USD 980 million.
