Algeciras Mobilizes 67.5 Million Tons in the First Eight Months of 2026

The Port of Algeciras closed January-August 2026 with 67.5 million tons mobilized (0.1% less than 2025) and 3,155,568 TEU (0.8% more). Growth was driven by Liquid Bulk, fuel supply to vessels (+3%), and refrigerated cargo (+4%). Passenger movement on Strait lines totaled 4.5 million people (-3.6%), while the Tarifa-Tangier Ville line grew 8.8% in passengers and 18.8% in vehicles.
