Royal Caribbean's Liberty Resumes Service After Major Refit
Royal Caribbean International's Liberty of the Seas resumed service after undergoing a refurbishment project at a shipyard in France as part of the Royal Amplified project. The vessel welcomed guests back in Southampton on May 29, 2026, with enhancements including 68 new staterooms, a refreshed pool deck, expanded Casino Royale, and new dining options. The Freedom-class vessel operates summer itineraries from the United Kingdom to Northern and Western Europe, with year-round Caribbean cruises from Galveston starting mid-October.
