Saudi Airstrikes Target Houthis Following Red Sea Tanker Attacks
Saudi Arabia launched airstrikes on Houthi targets in Yemen's Hodeidah following attacks on Saudi vessels in the Red Sea. On 22 July, Houthis targeted tankers Encelia and Layla with missiles and drones; Encelia caught fire with all crew rescued. On 24 July, NCC Masa was attacked with minor damage. Coalition spokesperson Major General Turki Al-Maliki described the response as a "proportionate military response" targeting Houthi military sites.
