President Trump renewed calls for U.S. control of Greenland during the NATO summit in Ankara, citing strategic concerns over Russian and Chinese Arctic activity. Speaking alongside Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Trump argued the island "should be controlled by the United States, not by Denmark."
