Capt. Placido Libro appointed master of Crystal Serenity and Crystal Grace
Capt. Placido Libro assumes command of Crystal Serenity on Aug. 14, bringing over four decades of maritime experience. Joining Crystal in 2024 as director of maritime affairs, Libro has supported fleet operations and overseen development of Crystal Grace, the brand's first new ocean ship in more than 25 years. He is also appointed to helm Crystal Grace during its 2028 inaugural season.
