25 Crew Members Rescued from MSC Hermes III, Coordinated by MRCC Singapore

The Singapore Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) coordinated the rescue of 25 crew members from the Liberian-flagged container ship MSC Hermes III, located 300 km east of Vietnam. The MSC Ruby rescued the crew who had abandoned the vessel in a lifeboat. All are safe with no injuries reported. The vessel was sailing from Shanghai to Jakarta when it issued the distress alert.
