Maersk Upgrades 2026 Financial Guidance Amid Container Market Resilience
A.P. Moller-Maersk has sharply upgraded its 2026 financial guidance, now expecting underlying EBITDA of $8 billion to $10 billion, up from $4.5 billion to $7 billion, citing stronger-than-expected container demand and sustained spot freight rate increases. The Danish carrier also raised its global container market volume growth forecast to about 4%, from 2% to 4%, and improved free cash flow outlook to at least negative $1.5 billion versus negative $3 billion previously.
