Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) announced that it has completed the reception of the sixth and final LNG carrier in a new series that will serve the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC).
The company stated that, after the naming ceremony, the vessel Greenergy Cloud "was delivered without incident, marking the successful completion of the six-ship construction project that began with the signing of the shipbuilding contract in January 2022."
"From Greenergy Ocean to Greenergy Cloud, this milestone represents over four years of dedication, collaboration, and teamwork among countless stakeholders," MOL expressed.
Furthermore, the company commented, "We want to express our sincere gratitude to the shipyard, the site teams, and all internal and external partners whose commitment and expertise made this project possible. Their efforts have been fundamental in bringing this ambitious program to fruition."
"As we celebrate the completion of this project, we also look to the future, leveraging the experience and knowledge gained during this process to tackle new opportunities and challenges.
