Maersk launches VGM certification service at Milazzo port

Effective 9 November 2026, Maersk will offer Verified Gross Mass (VGM) certification service at the port of Milazzo, Italy, for eligible export containers worldwide. The service charge is EUR 50 per container at origin. Rates are calculated based on Price Calculation Date (PCD) for non-SPOT bookings or booking confirmation date for SPOT bookings, with additional surcharges subject to local regulatory requirements.
