SK Shipping to Become World's Third-Largest LNG Operator via H-Line Swap

SK Shipping Co. and H-Line Shipping Co., both owned by Hahn & Co., will swap tankers and contracts to reshape Korean shipping. SK Shipping will receive 16 LNG vessels and long-term contracts from H-Line in exchange for 12 tankers, their contracts and approximately $300 million in cash. The deal will position SK as the world's third-largest LNG carrier operator, while H-Line becomes a leading tanker and bulk-shipping company in the region.
