POLEX 2026: National Coordination Exercise Against Marine Pollution in Vigo
Around 100 professionals participated in the National Marine Pollution Combat Exercise (POLEX 2026) in Vigo over 3 days. The Directorate General of the Merchant Marine, Salvamento Marítimo, the Port Authority of Vigo, and other entities coordinated port emergency and marine pollution drills. The exercise is part of the National Maritime Plan and seeks to improve emergency response through inter-institutional coordination.
