Alicante to host CLIA European Summit in March 2027

The Cruise Lines International Association has selected Alicante, Spain, to host its European Summit from March 8 to 11, 2027, bringing together senior cruise executives, policymakers, and port leaders. The event will be hosted in partnership with the Port Authority of Alicante, the City of Alicante, and regional partners. Alicante completed a terminal refurbishment and modernisation in 2025 with an investment of €2 million. In 2024, cruise tourism generated more than €64 billion in economic impact across Europe, supporting approximately 445,000 jobs.
