The Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Ministry of Economy of the Nation reports that, in the accumulated period of January - July 2026, the growth of exports from Regional Economies reached a historic record, the highest in the last 22 years, both in value and volume, reaching 5,757 million dollars and 4,377,259 tons respectively.
In the period considered, an interannual increase of 12% in value and 6.5% in exported volume was also registered. This placed the average price at USD 1,315 per ton (+5.2% compared to the previous year), a value that triples that obtained by the rest of the agro-industry, according to data processed by the Undersecretariat of Regional Economies and Small and Medium Producers.
The previous maximum record for the same period corresponded to 2013, when USD 5,414 million were reached. The current amount exceeds that record by 6.3%, reflecting the outstanding performance of producers and exporters from different regions of the country.
This set of complexes contributed more than 615 million additional dollars, compared to the same period of the previous year.
Some of the complexes that registered their best accumulated value in the January - July period since 2004 are: Aquaculture and fishing (USD 1,379.5 million), Heavy vegetables (USD 385.8 million), Legumes (USD 285.9 million), Beekeeping (USD 202.6 million) and Aromatic, spices and others (USD 63.7 million).
Brazil, the United States and China are consolidating as the main destinations for products from Regional Economies.
This performance confirms that with clear rules, greater competitiveness and market openness, regional productions are consolidating as a fundamental engine to build a future of stability, genuine job creation and federal progress.
