Coast Guard reinforced security and prevention operations in different parts of the country

In the last week, the Argentine Naval Prefecture increased its operational presence in different parts of the national territory. The tasks, strategically coordinated by the Directorate of Operations and Citizen Protection, focused especially on urban areas, border crossings, and places with high circulation.

As a result of the deployment, 66 interventions were carried out, leading to the apprehension of 53 people and the arrest of three, in addition to the seizure of drugs, merchandise in violation, vehicles, and other elements related to illicit activities.

Furthermore, personnel carried out 6,881 vehicle checks at strategic points across the country, which resulted in the seizure of seven vehicles.

These procedures are part of the permanent prevention and control tasks carried out by the Argentine Naval Prefecture to strengthen security, protect the community, and ensure compliance with current regulations throughout the national territory.
