The session was presided over by the Vice Governor of Corrientes and President of the Senate, Dr. Néstor Pedro Braillard Poccard; the provincial Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Dr. Juan José López Desimoni, and National Deputy Dr. Diógenes González.
Representing the national Maritime Authority were the Director of the Northern Region, Prefecto General Juan Carlos Ramírez; the President of the Officers' Circle, Prefecto General (RS) Rogelio Pellegrino; the Prefect of the Upper Paraná and Paraguay Zone, Prefecto Mayor Diego Antonio Dalmarini, and the Head of the Corrientes Coast Guard, Prefecto Principal Cristian Alejandro Francitorra. Personnel from the Northern Region Directorate, the Upper Paraná and Paraguay Zone Prefecture, and the Barranqueras, Paso de la Patria, Itatí, and Empedrado Prefectures also attended.
The distinctions were presented to Prefecto Mayor (RS) VGM Osvaldo Aguirre, Prefecto Principal (RS) VGM Gabino Oscar González, Ayudantes Mayores (RS) VGM José Raúl Ibáñez, José Ángel Niveyro, and Adrián Guillermo Fernández, Cabos Segundos VGM Antonio Ramón Grigolatto and Alberto Ramírez, and, posthumously, to Cabo Primero VGM Juan Martín Texeira, who passed away after the conflict.
In addition, the veterans were honored with diplomas of honor by the Sanmartiniano Institute Corrientes.
