The General Petty Officer in Charge of the Prefecture Visited the Yacht "Esperanza"

During the meeting, they were received by the head of the destination, Prefect Juan Manuel Frette, accompanied by the Petty Officer in Charge of the unit, Chief Assistant Adolfo Natalio Duarte, and the subordinate personnel.

Throughout the day, a navigation was carried out on the Río de la Plata, an opportunity during which the unit was presented, its function of representing the Force in national and international regattas, and its important operational and pedagogical role.

In this regard, the contribution of the "Esperanza" to the professional training of personnel was highlighted, as it allows students from the Institution's various academic units to carry out professional sailing practices, strengthening their nautical knowledge and seafaring tradition. Likewise, the vessel constitutes a space for integration and cooperation with different organizations and entities linked to the maritime field.

Subsequently, a meeting was held with the crew, during which institutional topics of interest related to service, professional training, current courses, and the daily activities of the personnel were addressed.

The visit concluded with an exchange of institutional gifts, in a framework of cordiality and camaraderie.
