The ceremony was led by the Chargé d'Affaires of the Colombian Embassy in Italy, Minister Plenipotentiary Mónica Dimaté, and also included the presence of the Police Attaché of that country, Colonel Giovanni Barrero Unigarro, members of the diplomatic mission, and various authorities from Italian police organizations.
The distinction, which recognizes those who, through their work and collaboration, stand out for contributing to the development and materialization of important achievements and contributions to the fulfillment of the police mission, was issued by the Director General of the aforementioned organization, General William Oswaldo Rincón Zambrano.
In this regard, Senior Prefect Jorge Osvaldo Soto, who serves as the Liaison Officer of the Argentine Naval Prefecture to the Italian Guardia di Finanza, received the medal at a ceremony held at the Colombian Embassy in the Republic of Italy.
