Terminal Puerto Rosario (TPR, Argentina) has commenced the construction of a reinforced concrete screen wall at the South Dock. The structure will be 609 meters long and 23 meters deep.
In this regard, TPR reported that "this project prepares us to handle a greater diversity of cargo —bulk, vehicles, and mining supplies— and provides a leap in competitiveness for the region, strengthening the country's logistical capacity. All of this, simultaneously with the normal operation of the port."
Regarding the project, the Rosario port operator announced an initial projected investment of USD 16.5 million out of a total of USD 30 million.
The work will have an execution period of 18 months and is estimated to help create approximately 70 jobs, both direct and indirect.
