Five South Korean Ships Exit Strait of Hormuz After Ceasefire Agreement
Five South Korean-linked vessels have exited the Strait of Hormuz following the ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran, bringing the total number of ships from the Asian country that have left the region to 11. The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries reported that the ships passed through without incident, carrying 21 South Korean sailors. Thirteen South Korean-linked vessels remain in the strait, with 87 crew members in the Persian Gulf.
