Port of Savannah Ocean Terminal reaches 60% completion on $1.6B project

Renovations at the Port of Savannah's Ocean Terminal are now more than 60 percent complete on the $1.6 billion project. The facility's annual container capacity will grow from 200,000 twenty-foot equivalent container units to 1.75 million TEUs. The 2,650-foot berth is fully completed and operational, with the entire yard expected to be finished by the end of 2028.
