Attica ports resume ferry operations after gale-force winds disrupt services

Ferry services resumed at Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio on Friday afternoon, August 14th, after gale-force northerly winds disrupted operations earlier in the day. Sailing restrictions at Rafina and Lavrio were lifted after 04:00 p.m., enabling additional departures to accommodate passengers ahead of the August 15th holiday period. Maritime conditions remained unsettled with continued strong northerly winds forecast across the Aegean.
