Panama Canal Advances Project to Strengthen Energy and Logistics Connectivity
The Panama Canal Authority continues to develop the Energy Corridor, an initiative to strengthen logistics connectivity and the transport of energy products between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. The pre-qualification stage began in January 2026 and includes the technical, financial, and legal evaluation of interested companies. The project aims to expand Panama's logistical and energy capabilities, generating new opportunities for maritime transport, infrastructure investment, and global supply chains.
