Carnival Corporation advances emissions target to 2029 after early 2030 goal achievement

Carnival Corporation raised its greenhouse gas emissions reduction target to 25% by 2029 after achieving its previous 2030 objective five years ahead of schedule. According to its 2025 Sustainability Report, the company reduced emissions intensity by 20% in 2025 compared with 2019 baseline. Since 2008, Carnival has reduced greenhouse gas intensity by 44% despite fleet growth, with fuel savings expected to reach approximately $650 million in 2026 compared with 2019 levels.
