AMP Presents B/.205.1 Million Budget for 2027

The Panama Maritime Authority (AMP), under the administration of Engineer Luis Roquebert, presented its budget for the 2027 fiscal year to the National Assembly's Budget Committee, totaling B/.205.1 million. Of this amount, B/.177,052,038 is allocated for operating expenses and B/.28,047,962 for investments. The AMP will contribute B/.117.5 million (57.3% of gross income) to the Treasury. Priority projects include the continuation of the multipurpose pier in Puerto Armuelles, the implementation of the Electronic Ship Registry (REN), and the construction of the fiscal pier in Almirante, Bocas del Toro.
