Mar del Plata Consortium Renews Nautical Safety Beacons in Three Sectors
The Mar del Plata Regional Port Consortium began replacing three of its seven strategic beacons to improve maritime safety. According to Marcos Gutiérrez, president of the consortium, the renovation will be completed in two stages, prioritizing the North Breakwater, South Breakwater, and Shelter Breakwater beacons. The modern equipment will extend the lighting range between six and 14 miles.
