Royal Caribbean InauguratesNew Cruise Terminal in Seward, Alaska
Royal Caribbean Group inaugurated the Dale R. and Carol Ann Lindsey Alaska Railroad Terminal in Seward, Alaska on June 10, 2026, replacing aging dock facilities from the mid-1960s. The largest cruise terminal in Alaska features 41,500 square feet of enclosed space and 27,000 square feet of open luggage transfer layout. The modernization project includes a shore power system developed through the US Environmental Protection Agency's Clean Ports Grant, with excess winter power stored in battery systems serving as backup for Seward.
