Ponant launches 30+ Antarctic departures for 2028-29 season
Ponant Explorations announced its 2028-2029 Antarctic programme featuring more than 30 departures across four vessels: Le Boréal, Le Lyrial, Le Soléal and Le Commandant Charcot. The operator will run 10-night exploration itineraries from November 2028 to February 2029, including Drake Passage crossings and Antarctic Peninsula exploration. Le Commandant Charcot will complete the first full Antarctic circumnavigation by a vessel in its class, a 62-day, 60-night voyage departing January 11, 2028, from Ushuaia.
