Brookfield Asset Management Set to Acquire World Freight Company for USD 1.2 Billion
Brookfield Asset Management will acquire World Freight Company (WFC) for approximately USD 1.2 billion from investment firms EQT and PAI Partners. The deal was expected to be announced on Thursday, May 14. WFC, founded in 2004 in Paris, acts as a general sales agent for airlines worldwide, managing over 3 million tons of capacity annually through more than 300 entities in 80 countries.
