Port Tampa Bay develops first new cruise terminal in 25 years

Port Tampa Bay is developing its first new cruise terminal in 25 years at the former Metroport site, expected to be completed in 2029. The facility will accommodate more than 200 additional annual ship calls, supporting over 2 million passenger moves annually and generating an estimated $100 million in additional economic impact. Kimmins Contracting Corp. is leading site preparation, while HDR and BEA Architects have been selected for the terminal and parking garage design.
