Uruguay Establishes Minimum Services at Cuenca del Plata Terminal
Uruguay's Ministries of Labor and Transport have established minimum services at the Specialized Container Terminal of the Port of Montevideo, amidst the conflict between Terminal Cuenca del Plata S.A. and the Single Port and Related Branches Union (SUPRA). The measure includes loading and unloading of vessels, reception of containers, and storage, with a minimum of 25 containers per hour. It takes effect on September 12, 2026.
