CMA CGM Foundation and FEMAR launch port technician training for 24 Brazilian youth
The CMA CGM Foundation and Fundação de Estudos do Mar (FEMAR) partnered to support 24 young people from disadvantaged backgrounds through a 15-month state-recognized port technician training program in Rio de Janeiro. Launched in March 2026, the 1,000-hour curriculum covers logistics, port legislation, maritime trade, and customs operations. On September 3, 19 students visited ICTSI Rio for hands-on exposure to container terminal operations, with recruitment opportunities within the CMA CGM Group for top performers.
