Kazakhstan Proposes Transport Connectivity Strategy in SCO Until 2035
Kazakhstan's President, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, stated at the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Bishkek that his country is ready to collaborate on transport initiatives. Tokayev proposed developing an SCO "Transport Connectivity Strategy" until 2035, integrating the Belt and Road Initiative, the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, and the North-South Corridor.
