Century Cruises Receives First European River Cruise Ship from Concordia Damen
Century Cruises, China's largest inbound tour operator, took delivery of the Century Star on June 22, 2026, its first river cruise ship designed for the European market. Built by Dutch shipbuilder Concordia Damen, the 135-meter vessel accommodates 174 passengers and features hybrid propulsion with a recycled steel hull. The ship will begin operations on the Danube in September and later offer Rhine itineraries, supported by Basel-based United Waterways.
