Idemitsu Kosan sources Saudi crude from Yanbu Port via Suez routes
Idemitsu Kosan, Japan's second-largest refiner, has begun sourcing Saudi crude from Yanbu Port using the Suez and Cape of Good Hope routes. According to President Noriaki Sakai, the company has ruled out short-term supply risks thanks to Emirati cargoes diverted via Fujairah and imports from North America. Houthi attacks in Yemen have extended voyages from 20 to 50-60 days, forcing diversions to alternative routes.
